Parade theme: “Woodmont Goes Green!”

Enter the Woodmont “Scavenger Hunt”. Seek out local goodies, like mollusks, hermit crabs, and at least two items that you found on the beach that don’t belong there! We’ll let you know what you need in our next flyer.

Your ideas for Green events are welcome.

Do you know a local business that sells sustainable and eco-friendly products? Share your knowledge of composting and using a rain barrel. Help make a green zone for kids to learn how to keep Woodmont beautiful. Dress up your green wheels for a bicycle fashion show!

The Woodmont Neighborhood Tag Sale

May 16, 2009

Rain Date 5/17/2009

Why go solo?

Take advantage of being part of the Woodmont Annual tag sale from your own home.

Sign up by e-mailing lcasey18@optonline.net, or call Linda at 878-9289.

This year we will be having our annual tag sale, but everyone will be able to participate displaying their wares from their own home.  Simply place your items in your own yard and we’ll do the rest.

We will be advertising through our usual means of local papers and flyers.  In addition, the ads will direct our shoppers to the new www.woodmontday.org, where addresses and types of goods will be posted. Maps will also be distributed from Trubee Doolittle (Hawley Avenue) Park.  $5 participation fee requested.  Per Milford town hall, our first bulk pickup is tentatively scheduled for the following week.

Avid treasure hunters will flock to clear your basement & attic!
